Assemblies & Integration
General Tool Company has the capability and experience to meet your assembly and integration needs. From the assembly of simple subassemblies to the integration of gas turbine powered Naval marine generator sets, we provide the solution to your assembly, integration and testing challenges.
A portion of our resume would include the assembly of multi-colored printing presses, paper converting lines, jet engine test equipment, and nuclear reactor repair equipment. The integration portion would include design and build of a research and development prototype power generation system for the Office of Naval research.
We are also well experienced in long term production projects as demonstrated by the success of the naval marine gensets used on the DDG/ Arleigh Burke class destroyers.
GTC has managed the assembly integration of the AG9140 gas turbine powered generator set (3.0 MW), and the exclusive supplier since 1987, for the U.S. Navy without missing a single delivery. GTC procures hundreds of components, fabricates hundreds more, assembles complete systems including all electrical and piping, and performs final acceptance testing.
